I am, first and foremost, a citizen of the world. I love traveling and bringing other cultures to life through my designs. I am an artist, a set and costume designer based in New York but am a nomad and travel for work. I enjoy reading and love telling stories through my creations. I have used Moroccan, Mexican and Indian influences in my past designs for film and theater, and love working on diverse projects. My most satisfying work is a challenging one where I learn and grow the most, and make new friends!
My strong forte is research and love for new ideas. I am very detail-oriented and skilled at meeting deadlines, project management, budgeting, and marketing. I have a problem-solving approach to everything and am quick on my feet to solve issues as they arise. Let's face it, no set is bereft of problems! In general I get along with people from all walks of life having worked in the corporate world and with artists.
I am currently enrolled in MFA in Costume Design at NYU, have a degree in business from Columbia University, and completed set and costume design courses at Central Saint Martins in London.
